About the Production

Shakespeare's final play is a magical meditation on power, revenge, and ultimately, forgiveness. The sorcerer Prospero, rightful Duke of Milan, has been exiled to a remote island with his daughter Miranda for twelve years.

When fate delivers his enemies to the island via a shipwreck he conjures, Prospero must choose between vengeance and mercy. Featuring the beloved characters Ariel and Caliban, The Tempest weaves together comedy, romance, and profound philosophical reflection.
