TeamSnap Onboarding Instructions for Oldham County Allstars
Pre-Onboarding Checklist
What to Bring:
- Athlete's Device: If the athlete has a smartphone or tablet, please bring it along.
- Parent/Caregiver's Device: A smartphone or tablet for parents or caregivers.
- Access to Email: Make sure you can access your email account for verification purposes.
- New Email Setup: If you or the athlete don't have an email account, consider setting up a free Gmail or Yahoo account beforehand.
Step 1: Download the TeamSnap App
For iOS (Apple) Devices:
- Open the App Store.
- Search for TeamSnap.
- Tap Download next to the TeamSnap app.
For Android Devices:
- Open Google Play Store.
- Search for TeamSnap.
- Tap Install next to the TeamSnap app.
Step 2: Sign Up or Log In
- Open the TeamSnap app.
- If you already have an account, log in. If not, tap Sign Up.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to create your account.
Step 3: Join the Team
- Check your email for an invitation to join the Oldham County Allstars team on TeamSnap.
- Open the email and click Accept Invitation.
- Log in to your TeamSnap account if prompted.
Step 4: Complete Your Profile
- Once you're in the team dashboard, tap your name to go to your profile.
- Add or update any personal information, including contact details and any medical info you think the coaches should know.
- Save your changes.
Step 5: Explore the App
- Schedule: Check upcoming games, practices, and other events.
- Messages: Communicate with the team or individual members.
- Availability: Mark your availability for upcoming events.
- Photos: View or share photos with the team.
Step 6: Additional Settings
- Tap the Settings icon (usually a gear).
- Here you can adjust your notification preferences, including how you'd like to be notified about upcoming events or schedule changes.
